Two additional victims remain hospitalized, fighting for their lives. While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, Eastern Cape police spokesperson Lt-Col Siphokazi Mawisa emphasized that the investigation is ongoing. “The motive for the shooting is still unclear and forms part of the investigation,” she stated.
