Instead of immediately calling his insurance company after flipping his high-performance ride, a VW Golf GTI TCR driver decided to focus on arguing with the concerned onlookers at the scene. Let's be honest, when something like this happens, most of us would probably just want to assess the damage and make sure everyone is safe. But not this guy. He chose to get into a heated argument instead.

The visibly upset driver, who appeared unscathed after the crash, unleashed a tirade against the bystanders and witnesses. It's almost as if he wanted to turn the situation into a reality TV drama right there on the side of the road. Now, I get it—accidents happen. But yelling at people who are just trying to help? Not the best look, buddy.

Heated Exchange Between Driver and Witnesses

An X user, @Dailybreezeza, shared a viral clip capturing the intense exchange. The post was captioned with a simple yet powerful message:

The 84-second video kicks off with the driver locked in a fiery argument with an older gentleman who clearly wasn’t happy about the incident. Another individual, possibly a passenger from the crashed vehicle, sits nearby on the grass, seemingly injured but stable. The tension in the air is palpable.

“Just f**king relax, relax. Where must I drive? In the air? In the air?” the driver shouts, his voice filled with frustration.

As the scene unfolds, we see his white Golf TCR flipped onto its roof, resting awkwardly on a sidewalk near a grassy embankment. It’s clear that this wasn’t just a minor mishap; this was a full-blown crash. Yet, instead of showing remorse, the driver seems more interested in defending himself.

Meanwhile, a woman’s voice rings out from off-camera, expressing her anger:

“Nicishe nas’bulala. Nicishe nas’bulala, man. Yeses, rhaa! (you nearly killed us, damn it)!”

Her words carry the weight of someone who feels genuinely threatened by what they witnessed. And who could blame her? Being involved in such a dangerous situation would leave anyone shaken.

The older gentleman adds fuel to the fire, saying:

At this point, the driver makes his way back to the driver’s side of the flipped car. As he rummages around inside, bottles can be heard clattering. The surrounding crowd begins to murmur, pointing out the visible beer bottles inside the vehicle.

“There’s beer there ... guys, you mustn’t drink and drive,” one onlooker comments, voicing the concerns of many.

The accusations hit a nerve, prompting the driver to defend himself passionately:

“We were coming from f**king work, man. Please, can you relax? We were genuinely at work.”

He continues, trying to de-escalate the situation:

“Can you please leave? You won’t be here while I pay for my car ... I understand [and] I apologise, I was in a hurry.”

Despite his attempts to justify his actions, the damage—both literal and figurative—has already been done. The video quickly went viral, racking up over 231,000 views and more than 1,400 likes within 12 hours of being posted. Clearly, people had plenty to say about this incident.

Unlucky BMW Owner Meets Similar Fate

In another unfortunate turn of events, Briefly News reported on a BMW M2 Coupe owner who thought he was the next Lewis Hamilton. Spoiler alert: he wasn’t. This eager driver left the dealership thinking he’d take the world by storm with his new wheels. Unfortunately, reality hit hard—and fast.

Minutes after leaving the dealership, the wannabe Formula One racer found himself in a crash. Talk about a rough start! It just goes to show that not everyone is cut out for high-performance driving. Sometimes, it pays to take things slow and steady, especially when you’re behind the wheel of a powerful machine.
