1. Apply for an Internship at a Registered Estate Agency

If you're serious about joining the real estate industry, you’ll need to start with an internship. This involves working under the guidance of a principal estate agent or a fully qualified agent who has held a valid fidelity fund certificate from the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) for at least three years. Even if you or your supervisor have other qualifications, this mentor-apprentice relationship is mandatory. 2. Register with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB)

Once you've secured an internship, the next step is to register with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) to obtain your "intern" Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC). This certificate is essential for legally practicing as an intern estate agent. To register, you'll need to provide the following:
