Alongside his friend Duncan Slabbert, Nick managed to successfully rescue the snake last week, showcasing his expertise and bravery in the face of danger. The car had been brought to a workshop in Pinetown after being driven from a home in the Highland Hills area of Moseley.

According to Nick’s post, the snake was discovered when the car’s hood was opened cautiously. The black mamba was curled up right on the battery! The car owner had been aware of the snake’s presence earlier but hoped it had moved on by the time he reached the workshop.

  • "The snake measured 1.9 meters long, and removing it was surprisingly straightforward," Nick explained. "It would have been more exciting if it had put up a bit of a fight, but everything went smoothly. We were able to take it to Dubcorp for assistance."
